This watch has a bronze case, crown, and pushers, a blue dial with moderate beige printing, and gold-plated hands. In addition to copper, the bronze used by IWC also contains aluminum and iron. This specific composition makes the alloy about 50% harder than standard bronze. The exceptional biocompatibility of this material is another notable characteristic. Additionally, bronze develops a unique patina over time, giving each watch a distinct character and appearance. This chronograph is powered by the in-house IWC caliber 69385. The movement allows for timing up to a total duration of 12 hours and is designed with a focus on robustness, reliability, and precision. The chronograph function is controlled by a column wheel. The bidirectional winding mechanism winds the watch to the power reserve needed for continuous operation of 46 hours.
