Description The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar, crafted from stainless steel with a blue dial, continues the long tradition of perpetual calendar watches in the Big Pilot collection. No other complication has been featured as prominently on the dial of the Big Pilot’s watch as the perpetual calendar. Developed in the 1980s by former IWC head watchmaker Kurt Klaus, the large dial not only comfortably accommodates the many displays of this mechanism but also makes reading calendar information effortless. The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar is housed in a stainless steel case, featuring a blue dial, rhodium-plated hands, and a blue calfskin strap. The perpetual calendar automatically recognizes different month lengths and leap years, requiring no manual correction until the year 2100. Made up of just 80 parts, the calendar module is driven by a single night pulse from the IWC in-house caliber 52615. The components of the Pellaton winding system endure significant stresses and are therefore made of virtually wear-free ceramic. When fully wound, this watch has a power reserve that enables it to operate for seven days. The intricately decorated movement can be observed through the transparent sapphire crystal case back. 0/5 (0 Reviews)
