We offer a warm welcome to all our guests who have booked our holiday cottage. We are located in the Dyfi Valley between the market towns of Machynlleth and Dolgellau, on the southern edge of the Snowdonia National Park.
We are easily accessible by road from all parts of the UK, whilst train travellers can be collected from Machynlleth. We are about thirty minutes from the beautiful sandy beaches of Aberdyfi and Barmouth.
Our Holiday Cottage Accommodation has consistently been graded as Four Star by Visit Wales for the last eight years. The most recent visit (May 2016) awarded many aspects of the cottage as Five Star, following major refurbishment in the winter of 2016. We try to ensure that our guests enjoy a peaceful and comfortable stay whilst experiencing a very warm Welsh welcome.
We provide beautiful Myddfai bathroom products, made locally in Carmarthenshire. On your arrival you will be provided with locally sourced Dwyfor tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Our welcome pack includes eggs from our hens and home -made cake. Home- made jams and chutneys can be purchased during your stay.
We were members of the Green Tourism Business Scheme from 2010 with whom we achieved its Gold Award (and have retained it in each successive assessment – valid until 2016). We left the scheme in 2015. We have continued to promote and develop our environmental principles, despite not being accredited by GBTS.
We enjoy welcoming everyone and we believe we can provide all the necessary facilities for those who wish to experience this wonderful part of mid -Wales.
The quality of your stay is important to us and we are confident we can provide you with all you need to enjoy this beautiful area.
We look forward to welcoming you to this unspoilt part of Wales and we will try to make your stay with us a memorable one.
