Bed & Breakfast and Self-Catering Accommodation at The Old Coach House

The Old Coach House offers a warm welcome and quality holiday accommodation with both a Self-Catering Cottage and two Bed & Breakfast rooms. The Old Coach House is conveniently located between the historic towns of Machynlleth and Dolgellau in the Dyfi Valley close to the southern edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

The Old Coach House is about 160 years old and was originally the coaching quarters for Dolcorsllwyn Hall. The self-catering cottage, attached to the main house was the coachman's living quarters. The Old Coach House Cottage has been refurbished throughout to provide comfortable Self-Catering Accommodation. It has retained its 4-star grading from Visit Wales (June 2009).

The main house offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation in two en-suite rooms and we have retaind our 4-star grading from Visit Wales (June 2009).

At The Old Coach House, we are working hard to ensure that we are helping out local environment in as many ways as we can. We hold a Gold Award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme. We use non-chemical products as far as possible and recycle most materials. We use locally sourced food and we grow a lot of our own seasonal fruit and vegetables.

We enjoy welcoming everyone and we believe we can provide all the necessary facilities for those who enjoy the great outdoors. The quality of your holiday is important to us and we are confident that no matter what type of holiday accommodation you are seeking, we can provide you with all you need to enjoy this beautiful area.
